KidsAgainstHunger - Central Indiana is a brand new 501c3 charitable organization whose main goal is to help alleviate hunger locally and abroad. Somewhere in the world a child dies from hunger or a hunger-related disease every 5 seconds. We find this fact astonishing, and simply unacceptable!   So, we decided to help do something about it.

KidsAgainstHunger was founded by Richard Proudfit a Minnesota businessman 20 years ago. He enlisted the help of leading food scientists at Cargill, Pillsbury, General Mills, and Archer Daniels Midland to find a viable solution to feeding starving children everywhere. These scientists came up with a highly nutritious rice, protein-rich and vitamin-fortied meal, that when boiled with water, provides nourishment for starving children.

  By having children active in the packaging process we feel that they will become more aware of the plight of hungry children around the world. By having Packaging Events held locally at our facility, we hope to help the children of Central Indiana in this respect.

  For only 25 cents a meal your group can help package and deliver meals locally and around the world. The normal cost to participate is only $20.00 to $25.00 per person. A group of 50 people could package 5,000 meals in a 2 hour session!   We ask that you and your group please consider participating in one of our packaging events!
