Indianapolis, Dec 20, 2011 - Dow AgroSciences was named Community Partner of the Month by Kids Against Hunger of Central Indiana for its volunteer efforts to provide hunger relief locally and globally. On December 8, more than 350 employees from Indianapolis-based Dow AgroSciences volunteered to package more than 40,000 meals for the hungry in Greater Indianapolis and for famine victims in the Horn of Africa.
"Dow AgroSciences recognizes the need to give their employees the opportunity to give back to the community and the world around them," said Kids Against Hunger Program Director Angie Mollenkopf.
